220Bio™ is an alternative fuel similar to conventional or ‘fossil’ diesel. This can be produced from straight vegetable oil, animal oil/fats, tallow and waste cooking oil. The process used to convert these oils can be described as transesterification. 220Bio™ is, at present produced from waste vegetable oil sourced from restaurants, chip shops and industrial food producers.
220Bio™ is waste oil which has been treated. We also add a special additional ingredient to ensure the product performs to a high standard, which the only difference you should notice from fossil Diesel is less fumes (which some have said smell like a chip shop). The result is a product which can compete with fossil diesel.
